well, so much for opening on October 1st. We started with prep last week and, while it does feel like we are getting a ton accomplished, we are still not ready to open. It is mainly just waiting on merchandise that is taking forever. This has been a major learning experience. Before leaving Chicago, everything looked so clear and put together. I did not envision all of the time it would take to handle the little details.
My mom has been such a trooper through all of this. She wants the store to be perfect when it opens and through her efforts, we will get close!
